Horn Kuba - K235

Description

The libagion horns, usually obtained from buffalo horns, were the Kuba

warriors' privilege and were mostly used for drinking palm wine. When not

utilized, they were hung on the belt.

This exemplar presents a decoration,  with small radial faces, similar to the

one of a drum picked up by Emily Torday at the beginning of XX century, at

the moment, it is kept in British Museum.
